Mrs. Rosemarie Smith Vincent
August 11, 1944 – January 3, 2021
Rosemarie V. Smith-Vincent, 75 of Naples, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 after a brief illness. Rosemarie was a resident of Arden Heights, Staten Island before relocating to Florida this year with her husband Joseph Vincent.
Born Friday, August 11, 1944 in Astoria, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose McGinnis-Smith. She was the wife of Joseph Vincent.
Rosemarie worked for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey before her retirement. She was a volunteer for several charities over the years, most recently, she was President of the Board of Richmond Senior Services on Staten Island.
She was a loving wife, cherished step- mother, doting aunt, dearest cousin and cherished friend to so many. Her big smile and kind heart will be surely missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at St Agnes Catholic Church located at 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Rd Naples, Florida 34120. Interment will be in Palm Royal Cemetery, Naples, FL.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Naples Funeral Home, 3107 Davis Blvd, Naples, Florida. Interment will follow at Palm Royale Cemetery also in Naples, Florida.

Dear Joe,
Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. It seems unreal that Rosemarie is gone. She was so vibrant and always front and center, ready to take on new projects and challenges. She loved being involved and always ready to help anyone. She will always be in our hearts. Please let all the wonderful memories you have of Rosemarie bring you comfort.

Dear Joe,
We have known you and Rosemarie for such a short time— ever since you became our new neighbors. Watching you and Rosemarie tackle your -just purchased- home’s renovation project was incredible. Your and Rosemarie’s energy seemed endless and your friendliness a joy! I was able to get to know Rosemarie a little by talking to her at a time when she was so worried about you and on our walks we were able to talk with you (through masks). It is with great sadness that we learned of her passing.
This is an extremely sad time for you and really nothing we can say will take away that pain. Just know that you are in our hearts, that we will not be strangers, and that your wonderful memories and God’s grace will, in time, make the sorrow easier.

Dear Joe;
I just found out with shock and sadness about Rose’s passing as I was trying to place a call to Her as I usually did from time to time after I moved out to NJ in 2008, words cannot describe the pain and sadness I’m feeling, specially for you in these inimaginable moments, I cherish every moment and memory I have of her, her kindness and beautiful heart are embedded in me since the moment I step into both your lives. You both were more then my landlords and will always appreciate everything you did for me.
My sincere condolences, may she Rest In Peace and be watching over us.
