Mrs. Barbara Joan Miller
January 14, 1937 – July 31, 2021

Beloved mother and grandmother Barbara J. Miller of Naples passed away in Naples on July 31, 2021.

She was born in Wakefield, MI to Paul J. and Bernice E. Oberg on January 14th 1937, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1954. She loved ballroom dancing, fishing and working in her yard on her many fruit trees.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Paul R. Oberg, and Russell Oberg; and her daughter Renee’ A. Weeks.

Survived by daughter, Tammy Duerr; brother, Brian Oberg (Jan); grandchildren, Jason P. Schooley (Laurie), Dr. Shawn E. Schooley
Blake Weeks; great-grandchildren, Jacob A. Schooley, Madelyn E. Bell, Brandon M. Bell, Riley Weeks.

Special friends of Renee’s, and therefore, friends of Barbara’s: Stephen and Ms. Thais Tepper. Other special friends include: Jay Swanner; Sharon and Steve Dubois; Aida Carrion; Walt Stout; Karen Coleson. Also, her longtime companion, Dale Stephens. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Notably, Merideth Chu, Bob Weiss, Scott Weiss and Deanna Valnes and Lynette Schultz

The family of Barbara would like to extend our sincere thanks to Kenia I. Rodriguez and Claudia Pozos for the excellent loving care they gave her in her final days. They truly went above and beyond for her comfort, as well as Stephen Tepper, Sharon Dubois and Laurie Schooley for all of their help during this difficult time.

There will be no viewing and a graveside service at Palm Royale will be private.
