Sarah M Fox
March 25, 1930 – December 31, 2022
Sarah (Sue, Suzie, nanny) Fox passed away on New Year’s Eve at 92-years-young, making the final decision to attend the glorious NYE celebration on the other side. She leaves behind her devoted loving husband of 74.5 years, Norman (Harold, pop, fox) Fox, and her beloved children whom she cherished, Larry (Carmen), Diane (Ken) and Doreen (Ralph). Nanny also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren Kara, Corinne, Patrick and Kelsey, and her great-grandchildren Pearl, Coralai, Hazel, Trenton, Oscar and Piper, and two soon-to-be-born great-grandsons. Sue was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ. She met Norm, whose name she enjoyed switching out over the years, the sailor and gentleman from Virginia, when he was in port. The unlikely pair ended up as the cutest couple in New Jersey and Florida. Sue made a mean gravy (sauce), kicked butt at bocce ball, arm-wrestling, piano-playing by ear – suddenly! (A memory that will forever be etched in our hearts) She was a comedian, the life of the party, the story-teller. And she was darn cute, although she preferred being called sexy. She was stunning in her bling wardrobe until her final days.
She has been reunited with her loving family members who passed before her, and her dearest best friend Ginny.
The Fox family would like to thank the wonderful community in Naples who loved her and helped her and us in so many ways. We will all miss her beyond words.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Naples Funeral Home, 3107 Davis Blvd., Naples, from 12:30 to 2:30.
