Naples Funeral Home is honored to serve the Valdez Family, but saddened to announce the passing of Elida Valdez on June 21, 2023. Elida is survived by her children: Teresa (Terri), Jimmy, Rebecca (Becky), Tammy, Linda, Crystal and Elida (Ellie); 15 grandchildren: Priscilla, Randy, Felicia, Tito Jr., Jimmy Jr., Daniel, Geoffery, Anthony, Brandon, Dominic, Victor II, Gabriella, Brianna, Tyler, Danny Jr.; 9 great grandchildren: Jonathan, Jaylum, Sydnee, Danyella , Rylan, Ariela, Aiden, Eliseo and Josiah; and her siblings: Joe, Ernest, Connie, Elisa, Nina, Margie and Estella, and several nieces and nephews.

Remember me when you go out doors and see the goats grazing on the grass, remember me when the birds chirp in the early morning sun, remember me when the wind blows and rustles the leaves on the grounds & the trees above, for the outdoors was my favorite & peaceful place on earth. I am now resting in the Father’s hands in a place where I have no scars, no pain, no worries and I will be so happy to see you when you come but don’t be in a hurry. You live a full life filled with the Lord. I can’t wait to hear your stories and see the beautiful lives you all live out. Make it good and make it glorify the Lord. I will wait for you patiently my love. May the peace that surrounds me now find you now & forever. Elida
