It is with deep sadness that Bob and I say goodbye to our friend Phil Jason. Ruth and Phil were among our first friends at Beth Tikvah. My memories of our time together are filled with joy and laughter. Condolence’s to Hope and Daniel. Your father was a very special gentle man who touched everyone he knew. Oh how sad in these increasingly sad times. Phil was a wonderful colleague, a great literary spirit and poet. We will miss him deeply, those of us who taught with him at the U.S. Naval Academy.
