Catherine was the first neighbor that I met in Laurel Oaks. I was captivated by her kindness, friendliness, intelligence, and wit. She will be sorrowfully missed- Randy Read

Catherine personified refinement. It was a gift to have known her and to have been her neighbor in Laurel Oaks for many years.

Catherine was one of the first people I met when I started going to Laurel Oaks. She was so kind and sent us to many places and restaurants to visit. She loved the swimming pool as much as I did so we had many wonderful visits there. She cherished her time with family and friends and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of her family. Mary Ellen Danehy

My love to Lisa, Paul and family. I was fortunate to have known your mom for over 25 years. Our conversations mainly occurred at the pool At Laurel Oaks where Catherine helped me navigate my way around Naples and L.O. and where we would exchange news while swimming. I loved sitting with her, Joan and Kay under the umbrella gossiping about this and that. I will miss her calm demeaner, her laugh, her warmth. She was a true lady. My prayers are with you all.

Catherine was a welcoming ambassador for both laurel Oaks and the wonderful places to visit in Naples. She was one of the first to welcome us as we entered the pool area. She was always positive, happy, and eager to know you. She was active in the community and always eager to help. I will miss her as one of the “three ladies” who met at the pool each afternoon and discussed the important issues of the day.
I will always be remembered as the “loving, caring, and classy lady” of Laurel Oaks. May she rest in peace.
My thoughts are with you both, Lisa and Paul.

Lisa and Paul,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed living next door to your mom in Laurel Oaks and seeing her wave to me as she read her books from the lanai. She will be greatly missed. Much love to both of you. Kristen Read

Dear Cousins,
I have been unable to find your contact information after hearing the sad news that beloved Aunt Cay is gone.
I have the fondest memories as a child and newly married of Aunt Cay’s humor, smile and infectious laugh. She embodied merriment with a mischievous look in her eyes.
She was someone I consulted when newly pregnant with Erika regarding birth and breast feeding since I knew she was ahead of the crowd and medical establishment in those particular areas.
I am feeling your pain of losing your Mom and send you wishes of comfort and condolence.
I so regret losing touch with Aunt Cay and with you guys and hope to hear back from you.
With Love,
Marlene McGovern
