Kerry Sill, 33, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at her home following a medical event.
Kerry was born in Ohio on September 23, 1990.
While attending Ohio University, Kerry started her law enforcement journey by working as a
Juvenile Detention Officer at the Multi County Juvenile Detention Center in Lancaster OH from
July 2011 –October 2011. In January 2012, she went to work for Hocking County Common
Pleas Court in Logan OH. She graduated from Ohio University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in
Criminal Justice in December 2012 and then moved to Fort Myers, Florida to be with family.
Kerry began a career with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on September 9, 2014 as a
Certified Law Enforcement Officer in Patrol and transferred to the Special Crimes Bureau as a
Detective on October, 16, 2018. She received several awards including a Life Saving Award in
2017 and Teamwork Award in 2021.
Kerry is survived by her parents; mother, Bridget Goble and father, Raymond Sill; and, one
brother Nick (Toni).
A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church located at 3000 Orange Blossom Drive Naples,FL 34109 at 11am on Friday June 28th, 2024

Detective Kerry Sill had a kind heart, infectious smile, and was a complete joy to be around. Kerry’s smile lit up a room and this world lost a true angel. I am so honored and privileged to have known her and serve with her in law enforcement. I will miss seeing her and I know that she left behind an indelible mark that will never be forgotten.

Kerry was such a sweet, always happy and just all around good person. I worked with her on the road as a deputy and then had the pleasure to work along side of her as a Detective. Our hearts are broken and she will never be forgotten. Rest easy sister.

Kerry was the best of all of us. She had an infectious smile and bubbly personality. No matter what was going she always had a smile on her face and handled business. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know her and work beside her. Miss you so much, Kerry! Rest easy!!
