Five More Minutes
Beth passed away today after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer, she died leaving family and friends profoundly sad. Beth’s journey was a lifelong pursuit of charitable works, generosity, compassion and love. Canadian by birth she was educated as a registered nurse and spent most of her career in the States. Her work was characterized by her extraordinary ability and her intense dedication. Whether in the chaos of intensive care, intimacy of home care or the conflicts of management she excelled. Her love of truth was her guiding light.
She spent her 60th birthday volunteering at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. She was determined to make change through her deeds and donations.
Beth was a quiet, shy woman who Marched on Washington for gay rights, women’s choices and animal protection. She spent 40 years with her partner Karen and enjoyed the happiness of a life filled with love, joy and peace. If Beth could say anything right now, she would say “Give”!
Give your time, love, and support.

Beth was a dear colleague. She brought warm, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every policyholder she touched. She was a quiet person but with convictions that she was passionate about. Karen, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Losing someone so close is incredibly difficult, and I can only imagine the weight of this grief. If there’s anything I can do to support you during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You are in my thoughts, and I hope you find comfort in cherished memories and in the company of those who care about you deeply.
