Donald G. McCutcheon Sr., 85, passed away August 17, 2023 after a long illness. He leaves behind his wife Carol Anne (Morin) McCutcheon after 62 years of marriage. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Malcom and Annie McCutcheon.

Graduated from Burrillville, Donald worked for the Town of Burrillville Public Works before retiring and moving to Naples, Florida. Donald served as a volunteer firefighter of the Harrisville Hose Company No.1 for 25 years providing great service to his community.

In addition to his wife, Donald leaves behind his three children: Donald McCutcheon Jr. of Naples, FL., Gregory McCutcheon and wife Laurie of Pascoag, and Brian McCutcheon of Harrisville, his three grandchildren: Gregory Jr., Madison and Kelsey McCutcheon, sister Ellen Houle of Pascoag, sister-in law Beverly McCutcheon of Harrisville and his many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers Malcom Jr. and Allan McCutcheon and sisters Dorothy Adams, Beth Guilbeault, Hellen Mumford and Barbara Caya.

Donald was a loving husband, father, brother and his most greatest title: grandfather who will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Donald’s funeral will be held private with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
