Jared Alan Waterman passed away on September 18th, 2024, at his home in Naples, Florida. Jared was born on January 4th, 1983, in Naples Florida. He was the son of Glenn and Linda Waterman, originally from upstate New York. The youngest of four siblings, Jared grew up in Naples and attended both Barron and Gulf Coast High School. In 2009, Jared met his soulmate, Casey Howard, through a mutual friend. Together, they’ve enjoyed raising their two children, Olivia and Mason.
Jared loved going to the beach. He enjoyed watching auto races and going for walks with their dog, Athena. He especially enjoyed playing video games with Mason and being outside.
Jared is survived by his wife Cassandra (Casey) Howard of Naples, daughter Olivia and son Mason; his father Glenn Waterman of Naples; brother Derek Waterman of Naples; sister Colleen Calleia of Naples; nieces Ariyanna and Keira, and nephew Gavin. Jared was preceded in death by his mother Linda and eldest brother Glenn.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th, at the family home. Jared was an amazing and attentive father and husband. He will truly be missed.

Colleen, my heart is breaking for you all right now. I still can’t believe Jared is gone. Wishing you strength and comfort during this difficult time. We lived beside you all for 12 years and you, Derek, and Jered, grew up with my kids. You were my other kids. I will always remember him as that cute, sweet little blonde kid next door that I loved. Gone too soon my little buddy. We will meet again some day. You left your friends and family with lots of good memories to cling to. REST IN PEACE
