Mr. Pierre Denis Smith
June 17, 1967 – September 5, 2021

Pierre Denis Smith, age 54, passed away on September 5, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 17, 1967 to Pierre and Frances Smith. He received a college scholarship for baseball and is still known by his friends as a great baseball player.

A former Marine and avid shore fisherman, Pierre led a simple life. He was a family man who loved his children, his mother, and his fiancé without limits. Pierre loved country music, and fiancé remembers with fondness his penchant for playing “Mr. Tin Man” while dancing with her. Pierre was a great dancer.

Pierre is survived by his mother, Frances Smith Kearney; fiancé Dr. Varina Singh; children, Celeste and Kyle Smith; brothers, Kevin and Michael Smith; and numerous extended family members and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.

Dr. Singh and Pierre’s family will receive visitors at Naples Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm with Father Sierra presiding.
