My fond memories of Carol go back many years. We lived in the Chicago neighborhood of Brainerd during a time when neighborhoods meant something. Brainerd had many exceptional people and Carol was one of
them. We started kindergarten together and were in the same grammar school and high school graduating
classes. We also attended the same church and were in the same confirmation class. I later attended her
marriage to her devoted husband Bob in that same church. After Carol and Bob moved away from the Chicago
area, we continued to keep in contact and I always looked forward to being with the Fenzans and others during
many and regular class reunions. Carol was a warm, kind person with a great sense of humor and she will
be greatly missed. My condolences to Bob and the Fenzan family.
