Roy McGregor Moise, 91, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024. Roy was born on May 1, 1932, in Bangor, Maine to Theodore Sidney Moise and Jessie Louise McGregor Moise. He was the youngest of two brothers and was predeceased by his brother, Theodore Sidney Moise III of Boxford, MA, his sister-in-law Phyllis H. Moise of Scottsdale, AZ, and his godson Gordon Ulmer III of Lyme, CT. Roy graduated from George Washington University in 1954 and served as an Intelligence Officer in the Army until 1957. He worked in information technology at the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company until 1982. During his retirement, he lived in several states including Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont before moving to Naples, FL in 2005 where he stayed until his passing. Roy is survived by his niece Elizabeth H. Moise and nephew Theodore S. Moise IV and nephew’s wife, Lisa Moise, his grandnieces, Emily Moise and Sydney Moise, and his life-long friends Tom and Kim Tomassetti. Roy was an inveterate reader and particularly enjoyed historical biographies. He took pleasure in bird watching, exploring the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, and spending time with close friends and family. Roy will be interred in a private ceremony in Albion, NY.
