June 8, 1952 – May 31, 2023
Beverly Victoria Moxam Ebanks passed away on May 31, 2023 from an illness. She was 70 years old.
Born on June 8, 1952 in Clarendon, Jamaica, Beverly was the second of 10 children, and she was a dedicated sister to all her siblings. When she and her husband, Vandal, started their own family, she dedicated herself to being the best mother to her three surviving sons – Dale, Marlon, and Marvin. She and her husband worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their sons, ultimately migrating from Jamaica to Naples, Florida. She would proudly boast about their sons, all of whom always cherished her advice, wisdom, and guidance.
Baptized on September 17, 1985, Beverly was a devout servant of Jehovah and enjoyed attending services at her Marco Island Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Aside from time at the Kingdom Hall, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, and cooking. She was the best Grandma and all her grandchildren unanimously agreed that they will be missing Grandma’s pancakes.
Beverly is survived by her loyal, caring husband and partner of 54 years, their three sons, two daughters in-law, five grandsons, two granddaughters, four sisters, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cared for greatly. She was predeceased by their first son, Romeo Ebanks, her parents, Gosten and Hilda Moxam, her younger sister with whom she shared a middle name, Gloria Victoria James, and her brother, Allan Moxam.
