Mr. Joseph Tambini
February 9, 1954 – October 18, 2020
Joseph J. Tambini Jr, 66, formerly of Monsey NY, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2020, after a brave battle with illness, surrounded by his family.
Joseph was born on February 9, 1954, in the Bronx, to the late Joseph and Susiane Tambini. Joseph worked as a mechanic during his early adult years and then spent the remainder of his career as a CDL truck driver. In June of 1974, Joseph married the love of his life, Linda. Joseph and Linda had three daughters that meant the world to him. In 2011, Joseph was diagnosed with cancer and was blessed to receive a transplant which gave him and his family, an additional nine years to love and be loved by so many.
With his warm, caring heart, Joseph was always the life of the party and marched to the beat of his own drum. Forever the prankster, Joseph was quick with a joke, and no one was safe from his teasing, which for him was a sign of affection and love. Family was everything to him and it was with family that he spent his final weeks.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda of Ocoee, FL, his daughters, Jacquelyn of Middletown, NY, Christina of Ocoee, FL, and Nicole of Ocoee, FL. He is also survived by his grandson, Anthony of Ocoee, FL, his brothers, Jim and wife Eve of Suffern, NY, Gary and wife Ellen of Nanuet, NY, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family is forever grateful to the nurses, aides and staff from Hospice of Adventhealth in Florida, for their remarkable support and care of both Joe and his family.
